Ingredients:
- Besan Flour - 1 Cup
- Rice Flour - 1/4 cup
- Oil - 1 tbsp
- Water - 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp
- Turmeric - one pinch
- Salt -To taste
Method:
- In a bowl add Besan flour ,Rice flour ,Salt and turmeric and mix well
- To that add the measured water and mix well it will come to a smooth dough little bit sticky
- Add the oil and mix well
- Keep the Sev maker ready
- Apply oil to the inner as well as pushing blade
- Now heat oil in a kadai and let it come to a medium heat
- Put the dough fully inside the sev maker and close with the lid
- Now use the sev maker over the pan and start pushing or turning the ladle
- Wait for few mins for the sev to get cooked and turn it around
- when the oil has stopped spluttering
- Remove it from the oil and place it on a paper tissue for removing excess oil
- Sev is ready
- Repeat untill the dough is over
- Store in a air tight container
