Ingredients :
To Grind:
- Basmati Rice - 1 cup
- Water - 2 cup
- Ghee - 4 tbsp
- Cumin seeds - 1 tbsp
- Bay leaf - 1
- Star anise - 1
- Cinnamon - 1
- Cardamom -1
- Cloves - 3-4
- Garam Masala - 1/2 tbsp
- Salt To Taste
To Grind:
- Mint leaves - 1 cup
- Green Chillies - 4
- Garlic - 5-8 pods
- Ginger - one small piece
- Coriander leaves - 1/2 cup
- Coconut - 1 small Piece
- Onion - 1 (medium size)
- Tomato - 1 (Medium Size)
Method :
- Take A pan and heat some oil
- Add all the ingredients under the to grind and saute for 5 mins
- Let it Cool
- Now grind this mixture in to a fine paste
- In another Pan or Rice cooker add 2 tbsp of oil , once its heated add all masala items
- then now add the grinded paste
- Saute for 5 mins
- Add salt for taste and Garam masala
- Let it cook for another 2 mins
- now add two cups of water
- Let it come to boil
- Now add the Soaked Basmati Rice
- If rice cooker leave as it is
- If normal kadai simmer the stove and cook for 5-10 mins till no water remains
- now switch of the stove and add 2 tbsp of ghee
Mint pulav ready
Serve With Raita.......
