Ingredients :


  • Basmati Rice - 1 cup
  • Water - 2 cup
  • Ghee - 4 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tbsp
  • Bay leaf - 1
  • Star anise - 1 
  • Cinnamon - 1
  • Cardamom -1
  • Cloves - 3-4
  • Garam Masala - 1/2 tbsp
  • Salt To Taste

To Grind:

  • Mint leaves - 1 cup 
  • Green Chillies - 4
  • Garlic - 5-8 pods
  • Ginger - one small piece
  • Coriander leaves - 1/2 cup
  • Coconut - 1 small Piece
  • Onion - 1 (medium size)
  • Tomato - 1 (Medium Size)

Method :

  • Take A pan and heat some oil
  • Add all the ingredients under the to grind and saute for 5 mins
  • Let it Cool
  • Now grind this mixture in to a fine paste
  • In another Pan or Rice cooker add 2 tbsp of oil , once its heated add all masala items 
  • then now add the grinded paste 
  • Saute for 5 mins
  • Add salt for taste and Garam masala
  • Let it cook for another 2 mins
  • now add two cups of water
  • Let it come to boil
  • Now add the Soaked Basmati Rice
  • If rice cooker leave as it is
  • If normal kadai simmer the stove and cook for 5-10 mins till no water remains
  • now switch of the stove and add 2 tbsp of ghee
Mint pulav ready

Serve With Raita.......
