So Cooking Is the most easiest job when u need not have to cut veggies...and for me fine chopping is always a myth
So my kitchen will always have some or the orther handy choppers

Latley I bought Pigeon Handy mini chopper and would like to share my views on it

So this chopper is non-electric and has a Elastic rope tied with a handle which is connected to the blades inside a bowl

As i said earlier my main use for buying this chopper is for fine chopping...but its actually waste
i have used many handy choppers before which were local and the elastic were easily going after 3-5 months regular use..so thought of investing in to a good brand like pigeon..and i felt like i made a biggest mistake after the very first use
Yes the blades are super sharp and the looks are elegant
but the work its meant to do is not up to the mark

  • I had to chop the vegges very small and put it in...
  • The Transparent jar given is very small which doesn't even hold hardly 2 medium sized onions
  • And comes the Chopping part the blade swirls only when we pull the handle but when i leave it the blade is idle..which naturally take hell lot of time for chopping..and of course my hand pains a lot
  • Even after so many times of pulling and leaving i don't find any fine chopped vegges expect for tomatoes
  • And since only the pulling mechanism plays the major role after u leaver the handle most of the times we need to open the lid keep the blades in the right position or opened the lid so that the elastic rope pulls back by itself
  • When opening the lid for pulling back the elastic definitely got hurt many times..(The Ouchhhh Moment.....)
  • So according to me its the most waste product i have invested so far

  1. Hi I don't know why this chopper didn't work well for you. I've used and created a blog on it, which also has video of it chopping vegetables fine.
