- Wheat flour - 1 1/2 cup
- All purpose flour (Maida) - 1 1/2 cup
- Active dry yeast - 1 tbsp
- Curd - 1/2 cup
- Sugar 1/2 tbsp
- salt - to taste
- Oil - 1 tbsp
- Water - As needed
For Filling :
- Onion (finely Chopped) - 2
- Cilantro or Coriander - Half a bunch
- Red Chilly Powder - 1/2 tbsp
- Chat Masala - 1/2 tbsp
Method:
- In 3/4 th cup of Luke warm water add sugar and yeast and keep it aside for 15 mins
- Mean while mix Whole wheat flour,Maida,salt
- Check if the yeast have dissolved completely
- To the flour mixture add the dissolved yeast and sugar mixture
- Start kneading the dough
- Now add the curd
- the dough should be really sticky ,so don't panic if u find it sticky
- Apply oil to the dough at leave it aside for about 45 mins
- The dough would have raised
- Now mix all the ingredients listed under the filling part in a bowl and keep ready
- Preheat the OTG to 250* C for 10 mins
- Now make big balls of the dough and roll it using a pin roller till 5 cm
- Keep a spoon full of filling center and close the dough to a ball
- Again roll the dough into a thick chapathi
- Now place the rolled kulchas in to the preheated oven and bake 8 mins
- turn around inbetween
- Yummy Onion Kulchas Ready
- No Side Dish needed
