Ingredients:

For Kulcha:

  • Wheat flour - 1 1/2 cup
  • All purpose flour (Maida) - 1 1/2 cup
  • Active dry yeast - 1 tbsp
  • Curd - 1/2 cup
  • Sugar 1/2 tbsp
  • salt - to taste
  • Oil - 1 tbsp
  • Water - As needed

For Filling :

  • Onion (finely Chopped) - 2
  • Cilantro or Coriander - Half a bunch
  • Red Chilly Powder - 1/2 tbsp
  • Chat Masala - 1/2 tbsp
Method:
  • In 3/4 th cup of Luke warm water add sugar and yeast and keep it aside for 15 mins
  • Mean while mix Whole wheat flour,Maida,salt 
  • Check if the yeast have dissolved completely 
  • To the flour mixture add the dissolved yeast and sugar mixture
  • Start kneading the dough
  • Now add the curd
  • the dough should be really sticky ,so don't panic if u find it sticky
  • Apply oil to the dough at leave it aside for about 45 mins
  • The dough would have raised
  • Now mix all the ingredients listed under the filling part in a bowl and keep ready
  • Preheat the OTG to 250* C for 10 mins
  • Now make big balls of the dough and roll it using a pin roller till 5 cm
  • Keep a spoon full of filling center and close the dough to a ball
  • Again roll the dough into a thick chapathi
  • Now place the rolled kulchas in to the preheated oven and bake 8 mins
  • turn around inbetween
  • Yummy Onion Kulchas Ready
  • No Side Dish needed
