Though this is a very common recipe..i would love to share my way to u guys

Ingredients:

Grated Coconut - 1/4 cup
Chana dalia - 3 tsps
Green chilli - 2 and 1/2
Small oinion -2
Garlic - 1 pod
Ginger - 1/4 inch small piece
Curry leaves - 1/2 strand
Coriander leaves - little
Salt - as needed

For tempering :
Oil - 1/2 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tbsp

Method :
Grind all the ingredients expect the ingredients under for tempering tab in to smooth paste

Transfer to the serving bowl and mix water as u need

In a kadai heat oil and temper with mustatd seeds

Now pour the tempered oil to the chutney

Thats it
